And I'd have to say while it started off just a tad slow, it becomes such an awesome game about halfway through - especially when you get a hold of the multiple-bladed weapons.

The boss battles are by far the most memorable portion of the game - especially the fight against this assassin who moonlights as a magician (or is it vice versa? Ahhh who cares..) where he'll invert your controls, flip the screen upside down, and periodically use you for magic tricks. Awesome.

It gets better as the next fight has you falling asleep on a subway train and having to play an old-school vertical shooter while Travis is dreaming, instead of slicing your way through droves of enemies again.

I'm going to say that Grasshopper Manufacture is my favorite game company right now. After the interactive art that was Killer 7 (the most underrated game of all time, mind you!) and now No More Heroes, they've made a rabid fan out of this jaded asshole Smiley. Just thought I'd post my opinion.

I want this. So bad.

If that recently released Wii Freeloader turns out to work well, I'll be picking up the (uncut) US version. Should be cheaper, too.

Ohhhh Wii Freeloader! Yeah man, those things work wonders. This is a game that NEEDS the blood. You totally need the full experience Wink.

Do they work wonders though Brad, DO THEY!?!? I've heard a few tales of them not working. Mind you, its only a few and not the majority. I'll most probably pick this, SSBB and NMH (US) with my next cheque.

And I've never been one for gore, but I've checked out a few comparison videos... blood-less just doesn't do the game any justice. Now that I have the option, I will definitely be picking up the gore version.

Oh yeah, the game isn't nearly as entertaining without the over-the-top blood fountains Smiley. And yes, Freeloaders work wonders! Jerk Tongue
