Acclaim went batshit insane in the early 2000's in an attempt to market their horrible games. A contest to name kids Turok, planting guys to wait in line for games, bleeding billboards, to putting ads on the tombstones of the recently deceased. Acclaim seemed to do anything for a buck.

That article was hilarious.   I started off just being amazed at your writing style,I have never ever seen anything close to "While the company was admittedly churning out more crap than a German porn star stuffed full of herbal laxatives and a bowl of colon blow to boot,"  in print.  Well at lease not in something serious anyway.   God I love the internet.

I still can't believe they got up to all the shit though.  God they are mental.

Ohhh they were for sure! I really miss hearing the next great scheme they'd come up with for their next shitty game. I was really hoping for BMX XXX 2 before they went under. Ahhhh well Smiley.
