These have to be my two most favorite funny games of the early 90's...

What other game is there that gives you the reigns to scare the heck out of people to retain your health, and the better the tactics used, the more points you got?

What do you think?

GOOD GOD YES! Haunting Starring Polterguy = BEST game on the Genesis and still in my top 20 of favoritestestest games. I actually reviewed it for SwankWorld around Halloween 2005 and had just as much fun with it as I did when I first played it. It was funny, creative and it had blood, gore, replay value, and people pissing themselves out of fear. It's a shame that game can't get a remake Sad.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors was a fun little romp too. I loved the premise behind it...it was like an updated version of those levels in Blaster Master where you walked around. Plus, the whole 50's B-movie thing was pretty cool too. At the risk of making an inside reference that only ONE person here would get (and that's you Topher Tongue), that game was the closest thing anyone ever got to Neighborhood Wars.

Dude, I think Neighborhood Wars would make a great Live Arcade game nowadays. But hey, we can all dream.

And trust me, the ROM is out there if you look for it Wink
